Rescue drones for beaches and sea

The main objective of drones in maritime emergency situations is to reduce as much as possible the time to locate the victim.

After obtaining their exact location, rescue units will be able to decide whether to jump into the water to help the person who is in an emergency situation, or send another drone with the necessary assistance material.

The device, in addition to having a high-resolution camera and thermal sensors, has speakers, necessary to communicate with the victim if necessary.

Beach Control

GRIDFLIGHT drones, adapted for beach surveillance and the rescue of people if required, have an autonomy of 55 minutes and the possibility of sending assistance material to the victim.

Boat Control

In addition to drones for maritime search and surveillance, GRIDFLIGHT operates unmanned aircraft for maritime traffic control, being able to spot vessels thanks to its thermal sensors and its high-resolution camera. Actions that are especially useful in the fight against poaching and illegal fishing.

Benefits of drone rescue tasks

Multiplying the chances of success in maritime rescues

At GRIDFLIGHT, we know that response time during a maritime rescue plays an important role, increasing the chances of a successful operation.

For this reason, we make available to administrations the use of drones, piloted by highly qualified personnel in this type of situation and allowing them to locate and know the status of the victim in minutes.

Never before has the sea been so safe

GRIDFLIGHT drones are prepared to act quickly and effectively during a maritime rescue operation, and can even access rugged or hard-to-reach areas, which is necessary to maintain the safety of the rescue personnel themselves.

In addition, the precision of the work increases considerably with the use of drones, reducing, in turn, emissions to the atmosphere and the time spent on rescue.

More security for less

The use of drones in maritime rescue tasks allows great cost savings while increasing safety, since the use of helicopters is not required, with the corresponding cost of personnel and fuel.

Frequently Asked Questions: Rescue Drones

How does a maritime rescue with drones work?

Drones are remotely controlled devices, so the detection of the victim's position will be carried out from the surface and, depending on how the person is, whether conscious or unconscious, the final rescue will be produced either by the drone, carrying the necessary material for this purpose, or by the rescuers themselves, who will be responsible for carrying out the maneuver.

What can a drone carry during a maritime rescue?

From the GPS to locate the exact position of the person at risk and the camera and speaker to view the status and communicate with them, to a life jacket for the victim to resist until the rescue team arrives.

Who can fly a maritime rescue drone?

To pilot a maritime rescue drone, it is necessary to comply with a certification: the official course on rescue and safety drones. At GRIDFLIGHT we help you with all the procedures to follow to obtain a license to fly maritime rescue drones.
